Gentleman Pardoo

We have recently learned from Pardoo’s first Q&A session that his favourite possession is indeed the Bowler Hat that he secured when visiting London on his first Amazing Adventure.

The background to this is that Pardoo spent quite some time around Saville Row, checking out a number of gentlemen’s outfitters before settling upon this fine ‘Derby’ hat as it is known in the USA, or indeed a ‘Bowler’ in the location where he purchased it.

Pardoo has a particularly large head, and so it did take a little time to finally settle on the right size for him, which he eventually purchased from MadHatter & Co of St James’s St in London.

As Pardoo was soon to continue his journey to France and indeed, to other tricky destinations such as the Moon - he had to also buy a very special hard-shell hat-box to protect it on his travels - and that box has unsurprisingly now been re-purposed by Pria to keep her prized coloured pencils in.

Pardoo used The Tube to move around London, but did find the escalators just a little unkind to the fur between his toes, causing one particular moment of pain as he was exiting at Piccadilly Circus, where he was somewhat taken aback with the lack of elephants and dancing horses which he had expected to find at that Station.

Pardoo loves his bowler hat, but does not wear it that often because Pria says it makes him look like a teacher she does not like!
